In addition to contract / project work, I still accept freelance assignments localizing Japanese novels for publication in English-speaking territories, specifically on digital and mobile devices.

For most recent publishers, the books will be distributed via e-reader apps on iTunes Store and Google Play.

Development Assistant, CG Animation Studio

Format: 3D digital animated feature;
Role: development assistant to Head of Development and Studio Manager

MARZA Animation Planet opened a studio in California and is developing new properties for production in 2015.

Hired to organize and support four directors as a temp production secretary, then also trained to assist the accounting manager with the paperwork and record-keeping required to work in the Overseas branch of a Japanese studio.

Dispatch, Television Filming Locations Office

Format: multiple live-action television series;
Role: dispatch & assistant to four Locations Managers, plus Marketing Lead

I'm hired to assist the Locations Managers by collecting info from appropriate sources involved with a filming locations, prioritizing what needs to be addressed and then getting the correct answers to the people who need them.

This also includes directing questions about contracts, insurance and other legal necessities to the proper representatives, and assisting with urgent contracts when needed.

Production Secretary, Animated Feature

Format: 3D digital animated feature;
Role: production secretary

The now final movie in the Disney's Fairies series -- Disney's Legend of the Neverbeast.

Directly assisted the Producer, Director, AP and CG Supervisor for the film. More info about this feature can be found here.

Production Coordinator, Animated Series (26 eps)

Format: 2D / 3D hybrid animated series;
Role: production coordinator, script coordinator & localization producer which included translation for meetings with Japan & US staff

This collaboration was in development for a long time, and I can finally share now that it's finished initial broadcast on TV Tokyo and Disney Channel Japan -- Stan Lee's HEROMAN. More information about the series here.

Through pre-production, I coordinated character designs, then storyboards. Once the show went into production, I coordinated scripts (English version) and localization for North America. 

I also supervised translation of all materials used for pitching to English-speaking markets, and in the broadcast print of the show, I received Associate Producer credit.

Script Coordinating, Animated Series (26 eps)

I coordinated scripts for the first season, and now that the second season is in development/pre-production, I've been hired back to handle scripts, translate character descriptions and series info to be used for the second season pre-buy/pre-license pitches.

First season Disney's FIREBALL, and second season FIREBALL CHARMING have finished broadcast on Disney Channel Japan.

Script Coordinator, Animated OAV (3 eps)

Format: 3D CG animated OAV series; 3 episodes, (22 mins)
Role: script coordinator, localization producer

I coordinated the English language version (dubbing and subtitling both) for this series -- Sylvanian Families. Also includes adapting the ADR scripts, assisting with voice casting, and translating direction notes.  More info can be found here.

I'm coordinating the script localization for the 3D animated + live-filmed hybrid series produced by Toei Animation and Disney Japan.

I'm managing translation, editing and producing the English subtitles for this series -- RoboDz.

Supervising the translation of this series, and directing the pilot episodes for the distributors in European territories and am scheduled to oversee the production of the English language version.

English version broadcasting in Japan, Ireland, United Kingdom, France and other territories.
